VIC:Deal won't help hospitals grow:Baillieu

Premier TED BAILLIEU says Victorian patients won't notice any major differences in
public hospitals as the result of a four billion dollar injection from Canberra.

After protracted wrangling with the states, particularly Western Australia and Victoria,
Prime Minister JULIA GILLARD has unveiled a national health reform deal today.

Under the deal, Victoria will reap an extra 4.1 billion dollars from 2014 to 2020,
but Mr BAILLIEU says the cash will merely help hospitals cope with rising demand, rather
than expand.

The premier says he's positive about the outcomes but also realistic as well.
