Fed: Indira Naidoo to return to ABC
CANBERRA, April 19 AAP - Journalist Indira Naidoo is to return to the ABC to host anew version of the audience reaction show Backchat.
Feedback will screen twice a week from April 29.
Ms Naidoo first joined the ABC in Adelaide in 1990 and moved to Sydney in 1996 to presentthe national late news, filling in on the main 7pm bulletin and the World at Noon.
But she left to join rival public broadcaster SBS the following year, presenting the9pm world news bulletin before taking up a scholarship to study media in the United Statesin late 1999.
ABC director of television Sandra Levy said Ms Naidoo's warm style would endear her to audiences.
"We are delighted that Indira has agreed to host this important viewer forum programand we welcome her back to the ABC," she said.
